Xi: Continuum
One of the most magical experiences in HOME’s history gets a sequel, Xi returns! The original Xi was beyond amazing; it had me logging in every day to solve new puzzles, discuss conspiracy theories, explore new spaces, share knowledge, and hang out with others for fun. It also showed off how masterful the nDreams’ studio was at that early point in HOME’s life, much more so than any other HOME developer. Dr. Seuss said it best, “Don’t cry because it’s over, smile because it happened.” Still, Xi was the high-point of HOME back then and has remained so even unto the present. Now, nDreams is bringing Xi back. Just yesterday nDreams announced a sequel to their massively popular project of Xi, Xi: Continuum. I am absolutely giddy with excitement! I watched the trailer for Xi: Continuum on YouTube, lost myself in a misty reverie of Xi’s yesteryear for a moment, then snapped back to attention in time to witness all the upcoming coolness previewed within the video. It’s unknown when, but sometime soon, the magic returns, and I can hardly wait. Click the link below for the trailer followed by some pics. Continue reading
